Well here we go again.
After a frustating season 2008 weather wise we hope for a better 2009.
We start this year with great news. Our first winter season is well underway and already teams are asking about next winter. As part of the BSL we have moved into office space at the BYSC, a move we hope will strengthen the working relationship of the two largest user groups in town. Out commitment is as ever to continue to provide the best soccer experience in town at an affordable rate and we believe we do just that. "Beware of all imitations !! "
This year we lose one lit field at Orchard park while someone decides who fixes it up, but gain Corpus Christie and Sherwood B turf fields. This will allow us to play longer into the season and have two fields where weather should not affect playing time. This also means that we will be growing again by 4 teams. This will bring us to 16. We will run two divisions of 8. We are also contemplating running an O34 division this year.
We will be holding a registration meeting on Feb 22nd at the Black Bull on Guelph line in Burlington 12.00pm til 2.00pm. Details are on the BSL web site www.burlingtonsoccerleague.ca
